My FPL 17/18 Season Review Part Three

This is the final part of my review of the FPL 2017/18 season. In this part, I describe my FPL philosophy and look at how it worked across the season. I’ll also look at any lessons for the coming season.

A Simple Proof that the Square Root of Two is Irrational.

This is one of my favourite proofs in mathematics, and a truly ancient one. The square root of two has been studied for thousands of years, dating back to the Babylonians.

Phew! The premier league is over, and with it the fantasy football season too. How did I do? In this first part of the review I will look at the highs and lows of the season, with my best and worst weeks, my favourite and least favourite players.

Ten of my Favourite Gerudo Valley Cover Versions

I fell in love with this tune the first time I ever heard it, and judging by the number of the awesome covers, I’m not the only one. From orchestras to paper clips, here are ten very different covers of the Gerudo Valley theme from Zelda: Ocarina of Time by Koji Kondo.

How to Fold an Octahedron

My favourite kind of origami is modular origami. Instead of using a single sheet of paper, you fold a number of different pieces and join them together. This octahedron is one of the simplest examples. It was designed by Lewis Simon.
